I am no big fan of his, but when I was young, I do remember Channel 5 slotting in his MTVs between shows whenever there were 5min breaks.

I still remember I bought his VCD, the album where he had a big statue of himself, gotta dig that out! LOL...

Out of curiousity, this is what I found out...

MJ never had such good torrent downloads/seeds, but only after...

It seems like it is in all our human's blood that we only get to treasure stuffs after they are gone...

Weekend in Johor Bahru

Reached customs around 4am early Saturday morning... Thanks to my "Sis" -.-

Handed them our hand-made belated birthday presents once we landed!

Nevertheless, the fabulous 3 took their time to bath after reaching my "Sis's" Sis Place, and ended up missing "lootloot", as they close before 5am...

Went for Macdonald's breakfast instead, I took a fillet'o'fish meal compliments from my "Sis" xD

Went back to "Hotel" and 2 sleepyheads collasped, and ended up with 2 idiots staying awake for an hour to play pufferfish on iPhone, swt.

Woke up later than expected the next day (as always), and the twins brought us to try out tasty noodles that they ate since young, not bad at all, Restaurant Ah Khoong made my brunch of the month...

Did not know where to go, ended up in a quite-new Jusco, see see, look look, did not buy anything for myself (as usual).

Bought some special Auntie Anne's angmoh-you-zha-kuey I call it, not too bad, almond flavour being the most tasty...

Not forgetting the first 合照 of dahong, xiaobai and xiaohong.

Zoomed past xiaohong's twin parked, we elsewhere as the carpark was full, headed back to take a picture of xiaohong's malaysian twin, exactly the same colour too! Ended up in failure because when we reached, xiaohong's twin has her owner back in it and engine and lights were already on, did not dare to go in front of him to take photo... Rewarded my failure with... Chicken hearts! Yummy, something I would miss greatly in local "pasar malams"...

Brought us to eat "special" fried rice, very good!

Prawns and Sotong included!

Burp... Cleared everything including side dishes of Long Beans and Spicy Sotong

After food, went back to Wei Li An's office to play mahjong, first time play "3-leg", not bad, quite fun... Left around 1+am, hitting 2nd link customs @ 2am.

What a weekend! :D Tiring but enjoyable!

Air France 447: Who was on board? Will the mystery be solved?
Authorities from several countries are now investigating the mystery of Air France flight 447, which disappeared over the Atlantic Ocean en route from Brazil to France.

All 228 aboard the flight are presumed dead. An official list of names has not been released, but the Wall Street Journal reports out of Sao Paulo that the list is likely to include some big names in business.

From the Journal report:

The biographies of passengers aboard the disappeared Air France airliner likely will serve as a tragic testament to Brazil's rising importance in global business.

Although Brazilian and French authorities have yet to release a detailed passenger manifest, the list is expected to read like a roster of European and Brazilian blue-chip companies, whose executives regularly packed the business- and first-class sections of the trans-Atlantic flight.

Already, some firms, such as French tire maker Michelin SA, have begun confirming their executives were aboard the Airbus A330-200. German steelmaker ThyssenKrupp Steel AG said that Erich Heine, chairman of the company's Brazil unit, was aboard.

The U.S. National Transportation Safety Board is one of the bodies helping French authorities with the investigation.

MSNBC's Alan Boyle gives us details about how the mystery will get solved -- and notes that it could take years.

"Solving the mystery surrounding the jet's trans-Atlantic disappearance is more challenging because there's no radar, no witnesses, no easy-to-find debris field," he wrote. "But similar mysteries have been solved over the past couple of decades, thanks to some heavy-duty underwater sleuthing."

Also of note, The Times UK reports that pilots have been unhappy with the A330's reliance on computers:

Investigators will want to know how the Air France aircraft, with an experienced crew, flew into the middle of a brutal storm that it could not handle. The Airbus flight system will be examined again; some pilots distrust the Airbus family's heavy reliance on computers (last October a Qantas A330 went into a 600ft dive over the Indian Ocean when the automatic pilot disconnected itself).

As far as updates go: Air France has released details about the flight crew.

The French captain, age 58, joined the company in 1988 and became qualified to fly the Airbus A330 in February 2007. The two co-pilots, ages 37 and 32, joined the company in 1999 and 2004. Eight of the cabin crew were French and one was Brazilian.

Update: 10:15 p.m. Two television stations are reporting that the two Americans on board the flight were Mike Harris, 60, and his wife, Anne Harris. They reportedly lived in Brazil.

If you are a job seeker, and have been actively searching the net for jobs, you
should have noticed a group of recruitment advertisements claiming outrageous
remunerations and prospects. These companies are dodgy about who they are, what
they do, or their expectations of the suitable candidate.

They normally advertise as looking for “management trainees” or anything similar in that line, and utilises a “catch-all” prerequisite for the jobs. In other words, they are
looking for anyone from a secondary school graduate, and all the way up to a
university graduate to fill in the job.

They also offer a comprehensive on-the-job-training programme; therefore no experience on the part of the candidate is required. The salary starts from S$1800 and all the way to S$2500 during the “training period”, which spans between “6 to 8 months”. After which an increment to the S$3500 to S$5000 range is promised. Furthermore, you will also reach a point where you may get promoted to be part of the management – a managing director post, even!

Sounds too good to be true? Well, it is! The recruitment strategy briefly outlined above will be a familiar sight to all jobseekers on the web. In fact, it may seem that there are plenty of organisations out there offering similar opportunities in their various recruitment drives. To the untrained eye, these companies seems innocent enough, and each bears a different company name and even projects the impression pf coming from independent business entities.

For example, by searching through the net today, I’ve managed to locate the following companies that are currently active in their recruitment: Nevaeh Pte Ltd, VisionX International Pte Ltd, and Appco (Singapore) Pte Ltd. These are just a few I’ve managed to dig up on at the moment. There should be more, so beware of others! All of them share familiar recruitment tactics.

A SECRETARY accidentally bit off the penis of her employer while giving him oral sex in a car.

Sin Chew Daily and China Press reported yesterday that while the 30-year-old woman was performing oral sex on the man, the car was hit by a reversing van.

The impact of the crash, China Press reported, caused the woman to bite off her lover's organ.

The daily reported that the incident occurred in a Singapore park where
the couple met after work.

To make matters worse for the woman, her husband had sent a private investigator to spy on her after suspecting that she was being unfaithful.

The investigator said he had followed the woman and her boss to the park.

'On reaching the park, they did not alight from the car. Not long after, the car started to shake violently.

After the car was hit by the van, there was a loud scream from the woman whose mouth was covered with blood,' he said.

The woman later followed her lover to the hospital with part of the sexual organ.

The investigator, who called an ambulance to send the man to hospital, said that this was the first time he had encountered such an incident.

FROM next March, motorists who do not yield to buses exiting
bus bays could find themselves facing a $130 fine.
Transport officials
announced the penalty yesterday as part of a plan to speed up bus journeys,
almost 10 per cent of which is wasted as drivers fight their way out of bays.
About two dozen stops across the island will soon have new signs and road
markings warning drivers to steer clear of buses pulling out.
The scheme
will start with selected bus stops along Ang Mo Kio Avenue 8 on Dec 20, followed
by more bus stops along Bukit Batok East Avenue 3 and Toh Tuck Road a week
later.
After a three-month grace period, drivers will face the prospect of
fines if they are caught breaking the rules.
SBS Transit bus captain Wong
Puck Chiang, who has been plying the roads for eight years, said the changes
would make his job 'less stressful'.
He spends up to two minutes trying to
exit at many of the bus stops along his route from Jurong East to Bedok.
Said the 53-year-old: 'During peak hours especially, people are rushing to
work and no one wants to give way.
'I have to inch out slowly and then put
my hand out and wave to drivers to give way. It's very stressful because we are
trying to keep to our schedule.'
A study by the Land Transport Authority
(LTA) has shown that 10 per cent of a bus' total journey time is spent trying to
exit from bus bays.
At the new stops, yellow lines will be painted on the
road marking areas that are off limits to drivers when buses are pulling out.
A blue sign 100m before the bus stop will remind motorists that they have to
give way, while white triangular markings on the road will encourage them to
slow down.
If all goes well, more bus stops, especially those along roads
with high volumes of traffic, will be included in the scheme.
Land Transport
Authority chief executive Yam Ah Mee said yesterday that the plan was unlikely
to slow the speed of motorists significantly.
The new scheme is part of the
Government's push to make public transport more attractive to users. The drive
includes more bus lanes, additional premium bus services and fundamental changes
in the way bus routes are planned, with the LTA taking over from private
transport companies.

Painting Of New Road Markings From 19 December
The Land Transport Authority will be carrying out road painting works to put in place new road markings along Ang Mo Kio Avenue 8, Bukit Batok East Avenue 3 and Toh Tuck Road.
Painting works will commence from 9pm on 19 December and will take place progressively at night, until all the new road markings are in place at the three locations.
The new road markings will facilitate the pilot scheme to make it mandatory to give way to all buses exiting at selected bus stops located along three roads.
Signs will be displayed the work area to alert motorists of the works. Motorists are advised to drive carefully when approaching these stretches of roads when works are ongoing.
There will be a total of 23 bus stops with such new road markings. Motorists are to abide with the new rules after the new road markings are painted.
Should motorists have any queries, they can contact the LTA hotline at 1800-CALL LTA.

Was at Changi Village last night, ate a $4 Nasi Lemak which had a 20minute queue plus only have pathetic chicken wing, fish fillet, egg and a few countable ikan billis... -.- so expensive...
The Stingray from BBQ stall was bad too, including Sotong Rings from a western stall...
I wonder what's with the crowd? Or is there something wrong with my tastebuds...
Headed to Changi Coast to be under the planes taking off after dinner...

Went for beancurd @ Selegie for the 2nd night in a row (crazy -.-)

Got back to carpark @ 12:30am, and to my surprise, I had to drive all the way up to Deck 6A! Not a single parking lot available under shelter!

3 days back, Sunday, was supposed to be a trip to Sentosa.
But last minute decision was to go to XM's house as she made brownies.
Ben&Jerry icecream was sponsored by A&W, and we sponsored tidbits and drinks...

After a home-cooked beehoon dinner, was time for the REAL stuff!

Been a almost a decade for me, since I last stayed overnight @ a Chalet.

I remember it was my childhood "holiday" favourite, to stay at UDMC Chalet @ East Coast Park.

Now it has been taking over by Gold Kris, and if I'm not wrong, they called it a Beach Resort or something that sounds really nice, inside's still the same -.-.

Ok met 2 idiots @ East Coast Park Check-in Carpark. (oh well from the start they were the only 2 that actually bothered about the preparations for the chalet).

Friends started arriving one by one from 5pm, and by 7pm everyone was here. (wow.)

The Preparation of Food (and some were already eating)

What happens when "Little Nyonya" starts showing on TV? Distraction -.-

Gift Exchange was up next after food, but pictures are not with me YET, hence I will haunt the person holding the pictures and shall post it as soon as I get them...

Evening was our favourite seafood meal on the sea itself, pillar-supported "floating" restaurant? whatever...

A good meal quickly led to a burnt tires and exhaust smelly experience...

Recorded some videos on the "Races", but they are in 3gp and I am so lazy to Youtube them ><.

Had our favourite Beef/Seafood Beehoon @ Kulai before setting back to JB and then back to Singpore...

A well spent weekend I should say!

The party who intends to terminate the contract must give notice to the other party in writing.

The notice period to be given depends on what is agreed in the written contract. If there is no written contract, the notice period to be given depends on what the parties have agreed upon verbally.

If there is no such period previously agreed upon, the following shall apply:

Notice Period

Less than 26 weeks
1 day

26 weeks to less than 2 years
1 week

2 years to less than 5 years
2 weeks

5 years and above
4 weeks

The day on which the notice is given shall be included in the notice period.

The length of notice to be given by an employee (in a resignation) and an employer (in a termination of employment) are the same.

By mutual consent, notice can be waived.

Serious Qn - Daring dressing. Girls' opinion needed.

This is really a thread for girls as I know boys won't be able to contribute constructively to my question. I have not disclosed my identity here so I'm comfortable telling my problem honestly. The avatar is not my pic of cos.

I'm 19 and just started at uni 2 months back. I'm slim and not bad looking but not stunning.

In the past couple of months I've changed my dressing a lot. I used to wear mainly jeans and the occassional skirt. But I club a lot now so the dresses are a lot sexier and the skirts are a lot shorter now. I confess that I reallly enjoy the attention from the boys and the ogling. I now think nothing of not wearing a bra, even if its a thin or white dress. Its a bit pai seh in school, but 2 or 3 times I decided not to wear 1 to seminars also.

A friend (girl) dared me once and I did a brittney spears by going commando while clubbing. It was a bit uncomfortable and very scary at first. But now I even enjoy it and it just makes me feel very dangerous and powerful yet so vulnerable at the same time. I don't know how to explain it but its this strange sensation of pure power mixed with the knowledge that you can get raped anytime, that makes me so love going out without uns.

I've tried all kinds of crazy and daring things in the past few months with respect to my dressing and undressing, too many to list here. What really got me thinking was an incident last week.

I live in a small condo and there are 2 new developments coming up nearby. I went down to get the mail at about 8 pm. I was wearing a silky top that I use both as a top or a very short dress. The workers from 1 of the developments were done for the day and were sitting around waiting for their lorry or something. When I came downstairs, a few of them saw me and started wolf whistling. In the past, I would have just quickly taken my stuff and gone upstairs. I don't know why, but when they did that I just felt challenged. I have not the slightest wish for any of those men and only in their wildest dreams will they ever have a chance of fu#king me. But what I did next both shocked and scared me when I thot about it later.

I opened the mail box and collected the mail. There was a big bin near the road where they were sitting. I started walking towards the bin while pulling out the junk mail. I walked right past them and I knew my breasts were showing but I wanted them to show. I threw the junk mail into the bin and walked past them again towards my place. By this time they were all staring, whistling and shouting, but without daring to come closer to me. Everyone of them was so excited. I stopped wallking when I was about 6 steps past them. I reached under my dress, pulled up the dress slightly, bent forwards, and started pulling my panties down. I pulled them down my legs slowly and unhurriedly took them off right in front of those guys who had a full view of my butt. By now, they were just going mad and shouting excitedly at me non stop. When done, I calmly stood back up and walked back to my lift and went upstairs. I bloody bloody enjoyed doing that. When I went upstairs, I was shaking so badly. Luckily no one was home. I was both so scared and so bloody high. I wanted to cry, I don't know why. I just shaking for a very long time.

When I thought about it later, I felt like such an idiot. I don't know why I did wqhat I did, it was so bloody dangerous and stupid. If any of my frens had done it, I would have been so shocked and scared and angry for them and probably scolded them, but there I was and I just did that. Part of me so wants to do it again, part of me thinks I'm going mad.

I don't really know what my question is. Am I going mad? Does anyone else feel like that as well? Has anyone else done anything similar. I so bloody enjoy doing all these but think I'm crazy at the same time.... Please pm me if you would rather not share here cos people know who u r or something. Honest answers only pls. Tks.

The Donkey

One day a farmer's donkey fell down into a well.
The animal cried piteously for hours as the farmer tried to figure out what to do.
Finally, he decided the animal was old, and the well needed to be covered up anyway; it just wasn't worth it to retrieve the donkey.
He invited all his neighbours to come over and help him.
They all grabbed a shovel and began to shovel dirt into the well.
At first, the donkey realized what was happening and cried horribly.
Then, to everyone's amazement he quieted down.
A few shovel loads later, the farmer finally looked down the well.
He was astonished at what he saw.
With each shovel of dirt that hit his back, the donkey was doing something amazing.
He would shake it off and take a step up.
As the farmer's neighbours continued to shovel dirt on top of the animal, he would shake it off and take a step up.
Pretty soon, everyone was amazed as the donkey stepped up over the edge of the well and happily trotted off!

MORAL: Life is going to shovel dirt on you, all kinds of dirt. The trick to getting out of the well is to shake it off and take a step up. Each of our troubles is a steppingstone. We can get out of the deepest wells just by not stopping, never giving up! Shake it off and take a step up.

Remember the five simple RULES to be happy:
1. Free your heart from hatred – Forgive.
2. Free your mind from worries - Most never happen.
3. Live simply and appreciate what you have.
4. Give more.
5. Expect less.

The STORY was good and meaningful. I admire the Donkey spirit.
The MORAL was only half true, in real life, for the last 2 lines.
The RULES however, to me it seems that one will be lying to oneself just to make oneself happy.

Food for Thought:
Maybe there is a 2nd part to the story, Donkey comes out of the well and kicks the farmer into the well and cover him dead.
